And Insight Communications Partner in 10-Year Distribution Deal

The Tennis Channel, the 24-hour
cable television network devoted exclusively to tennis and other
racquet sports, has partnered with Insight Communications, the
ninth-largest cable operator in the United States, to launch The
Tennis Channel on Insight's digital tier in the Louisville, Ky.,
area on Nov. 13, 2003. The launch is the first, under a 10-year
agreement between the channel and the operator which covers all
Insight cable systems. The joint announcement was made today by
Terry Denson, vice president, programming, Insight Communications
and Randy Brown, senior vice president of distribution, The
Tennis Channel.
"We're pleased to add The Tennis Channel's in-depth coverage
of the sport and its players, both on and off the court. It's a
good addition to our digital Sports & Lifestyle Pak, and will
add further value to customers," said Denson.
"We appreciate this support from Insight Communication,
which gives The Tennis Channel substantial coverage in the
Midwest, where there are legions of tennis fans," said Brown.
"The sport of tennis boasts more than 82 million fans with
many major events throughout this region each season."
The Tennis Channel recently announced a myriad of system launches
including New York and New Jersey's coveted boroughs of
Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and Brooklyn on Time Warner
Cable starting on Nov. 19, 2003.
